Israeli couscous, also known as “Ptitim” or “pearl couscous” is a lightly-toasted round pasta with a mild taste and bouncy texture. It's delicious in cold salads or served as a side dish with fish or lamb.
Preparation and Cooking Suggestions
For one cup of couscous: Bring 1 1/4 cups water to a boil. Add couscous to pot, cover pot and simmer for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt to taste.
