We are seeking a dynamic and driven Wine & Spirits Sales Representative with a strong sales acumen to join our team. 

As a Wine and Spirits Sales Representative, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, including restaurants, bars, hotels, retail stores, and private consumers, to promote and sell our diverse portfolio of wines. You will work closely with our existing client base while actively seeking new business opportunities to increase sales and expand our market presence. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as a deep knowledge and passion for wines. 


  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing exceptional customer service and support. o Proactively prospect and acquire new clients, including restaurants, hotels, bars, retail stores, and private consumers. 
  • Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and wine tastings to promote our portfolio of wines and spirits and educate customers on their unique characteristics and provenance. 
  • Provide wine and spirits recommendations and advice to clients based on their preferences and menu requirements. 
  • Collaborate with the wine and spirits manager and the marketing team to develop sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and wine events to drive sales and enhance brand visibility. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities. 
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to the sales manager.
  • Attend industry trade shows, networking events, and wine exhibitions to represent the company and expand professional networks.
  • Work closely with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
  • Proven experience in wine sales or a related field, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for wines and spirits, including familiarity with different grape varieties, regions, and wine production processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite. 


  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing is preferred. 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a similar capacity/in wine & spirits sales. 
  • WSET Certification will be an asset. 
  • Ability to be self-directed; thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required. 
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills. 
  • Experience in sales with significant exposure to brand building activity.
